Pershore Plum Festival 'Art Street'
In August 2010, three of our dedicated volunteers, Pete, Rhys and Tanya decided they wanted to take part in the Pershore Plum Festival celebrations by taking over Church Street and turning it into 'Art Street'.
Along with the support of WANA they organised an outdoor art exhibition, live statues, musicians, a culture corner, drumming workshop and mural where passers by were invited to draw/paint/sketch their own piece of art.
The day was a fantastic success and they all worked really hard to bring it all together, plus the feedback from visitors was fantastic.
Thanks Pete, Rhys and Tanya for all your hard work and efforts, as you can see from the pictures below a great time was had by all!
