CARERS RIGHTS DAY

‘MONEY MATTERS’

2nd December 2011 2.00pm till 6.00pm
Carers Rights Day this year has a theme of MONEY MATTERS and will address financial challenges faced by many carers.

Guest Speakers and other experts on hand to talk about money issues

  • Direct Payments and Personalisation—Angela Buckley, Worcestershire County Council
  • Benefits—Claire Parry, Department of Works and Pensions (one to one sessions available)
  • Benefits—Terry Carter, Age UK (one to one sessions available)
  • Carers’ Assessments—Carers Unit
  • Care and Repair will be there to give help with grants for home repairs and home changes regarding care
  • Information, Advice and Guidance—Carer Contact Officer
