Our Services

The activities carried out by Pershore Volunteer Centre are wide-ranging and include:

Recruitment and Placement of Volunteers

Volunteering is about giving some of your time to help others in the community.
All new volunteers are offered 1-2-1 style interviews with our Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator to assess what type of voluntary work is right for you. You may be placed within the volunteer centre itself or with another organisation through the brokerage service we offer, depending on what you would like to do. You will find more information on our volunteering page.

A Community Transport Scheme

This includes a Social Car Scheme for those without a vehicle or unable to use public transport and an accessible minibus service for use by local voluntary and community groups. Please click here for our social car scheme eligibility criteria and current farescales.

Our minibus service includes a regular shopping service to the Co-op for people living in Pershore, and a Dial - a - Ride service to bring people living in the Upton Snodsbury area into Pershore. Both services must be pre booked.
